Tenerife Intercity Transport (Titsa), a subsidiary of the Tenerife Island Council, will modify its service provisions to meet winter demand, commencing next Monday, 9 September, in response to the reopening of educational establishments and the conclusion of the summer break.

With the updated timetable, the urban services in Santa Cruz de Tenerife will see an increase in the frequency of lines 934 and 936 (Interchange-Taco-Santa Maria del Mar-Añaza-Interchange) as well as line 905 (North Pier-Ofra), which will run every 10 minutes during peak periods.

In contrast, the frequency of line 910 (Interchange-Playa Las Teresitas) will be reduced on both weekdays and weekends, although services will still occur every 10 minutes.

Additionally, line 946 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Taganana-Almáciga interchange) will revert to its winter timetable, while line 948 between Benijo and Taganana will no longer operate.

Within the urban service of La Laguna, line 217 (La Laguna – Valle de Guerra – Tejina – Punta del Hidalgo interchange) will return to its winter schedule. Furthermore, line 224 will also adopt its winter timetable and will see alterations in its route.

The lines serving the metropolitan area (014, 015) and Acentejo (012, 021, 023, and 050) will experience modifications and enhancements to their schedules.

Conversely, the services on routes 122, 138, and 139 will see a reduction in the number of trips during the weekends.

Starting from 9 September, the lines 392, 410, 412, 419, 421, 463, and 485 will resume operations, having been temporarily suspended over the summer, to provide connections to various educational centres in the northern and southern parts of Tenerife.

Lastly, the line connecting Realejo Alto – El Socorro beach, 546, will conclude its service, while line 369 between Buenavista and Teno will begin its winter timetable on 1 October.

Titsa reminds customers that all these updates can be accessed on the website www.titsa.com, by calling 922.53.13.00, and through the company’s social media channels.
