SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 7-year-old British child was saved on Sunday morning after nearly drowning in the swimming pool of a hotel in Puerto de La Cruz (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 112.
Emergency services received a call indicating that the boy was unconscious after being pulled from the water by a lifeguard, prompting a response from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC).
Once at the hotel, medical personnel evaluated and treated the child, who displayed signs of moderate drowning, before transferring him via ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.
Additionally, local police officers were tasked with preparing the necessary reports.
