The Centro-Ifara district of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is set to host the final summer cinema event in the municipality on Thursday, August 22. This marks a new edition of the family and community leisure initiative “Neighbourhood Nights” in public spaces, aimed at fostering social interaction.
Following the success of the initial two evenings, the premises of the Pisaca House in The Toscal will be the venue for an afternoon celebration from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., providing an opportunity for children to enjoy themselves with their families through activities such as bouncy castles, workshops, face painting and trampolines, among others.
Subsequently, at 8:00 p.m., the film “Vaya Vacaciones!” will be screened, a delightful comedy that will bring the third day of “Noches de Barrio” to a close.
The district councillor, Purificación Dávila, states that the objective of this initiative “is to encourage outdoor activities in public areas, especially at a time when family bonding is crucial, as children are preparing to commence a new school year, making it vital for us to provide this opportunity for families.”
Dávila highlighted the celebration of “Neighbourhood Nights” as part of a series of activities being organised throughout this summer across all the neighbourhoods in Centro-Ifara, aimed at creating leisure and engagement opportunities for all district residents.
“We believe these summer nights will be memorable and filled with happiness. It represents an ideal plan for families to enjoy and have a splendid time in the neighbourhood,” concluded the councillor, who noted that tomorrow marks the final day of “Neighbourhood Nights”.
