SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 18th August (EUROPA PRESS) –
The César Manrique Maritime Park in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has experienced a 3% increase in visitor numbers during July, with 76,000 individuals opting for this leisure activity in the city.
Furthermore, the first five days of August saw an additional 16,000 visitors, as stated by the Tenerife City Council.
The Mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, expressed satisfaction with the summer season results. The rise in attendance figures indicates a significant surge in visitors, highlighting that the facility has become a key attraction for both locals and tourists.
He also highlighted the impact of the improvements made, such as the increase in sunbeds, enhanced energy efficiency, and added leisure activities. He commended the dedicated work of all staff members who provide excellent service to visitors at the César Manrique Maritime Park.
The Maritime Park and Palmetum Councillor, Javier Rivero, mentioned that the complex welcomes an average of 282,000 visitors annually and 196,000 during summer. This reflects the ongoing efforts to enhance services for beachgoers.
Lastly, the councillor reminded that the summer season commenced on 15th June and will run until 8th September, offering activities for both children and adults from 10:00 to 19:00. The goal is to create a lively and dynamic park environment.
