Los Charcos de Valleseco in Santa Cruz is a popular spot for the celebration of International Youth Day. The event, which took place yesterday, brought together hundreds of young people for a day filled with fun activities, music, and positive energy.
Organised by the Youth and Anaga District departments of the Chicharrero City Council, the event offered a variety of leisure and recreational activities from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Participants had the chance to enjoy skateboarding, paddle surfing, BodyPaint workshops, dance performances, Zumba classes, water jump, street basketball, functional training, podcasts, interviews, and music by DJ Sistah Vives.
Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez expressed his satisfaction with the Youth Day celebration at Los Charcos de Valleseco. He highlighted the high turnout and the opportunity for young people to swim in the sea under the pleasant weather.
Approximately five hundred young individuals gathered at the bathing area to mark their special day. The city council organised the event, which was preceded by a boat trip to Antequera, providing the youth with a chance to connect with nature and visit a protected area in the Anaga district.
