In celebration of International Youth Day, the Arona Town Hall in collaboration with The Christians area, led by councillor Rubens Delgado, has organized various events for the upcoming Saturday. The festivities will feature a range of activities focusing on the youth. Two main locations have been designated for the event: the Old Pier of Los Cristianos and the Sports Zone of Los Cristianos Beach, where music, sports, video games, and virtual reality will take centre stage.
The Sports Zone at Playa de Los Cristianos will host activities including water volleyball, roundnet, beach football, and a surf simulator. Additionally, there will be dedicated areas such as the FIFA Zone and virtual reality tents, offering young people the chance to experience virtual reality glasses and engage in different video games. All these exciting activities are scheduled to kick off at noon.
Simultaneously, the musical section at Muelle Viejo de Los Cristianos will feature background music from midday onwards, with live performances by DJ Big Charlie, DJ Javi Plasencia, Dailos MB, Deejay Nato, DJ Renzzo El Selector, La Pantera, and El Vega Life starting from 4:00 pm until midnight.
Rubens Delgado, the Youth Councillor at Arona Town Hall, emphasised, “We have put together a wide array of sports activities for the young people at the Muelle Viejo de Los Cristianos and the Plaza de La Pescadora area. Following this, from four in the afternoon, we will have live music. I believe it will be a comprehensive day for all the youngsters, and they are warmly invited to join as it is a special day dedicated to them.”
