The company responsible for the report, Weit Ingeniería Hidráulica y Marítima, held discussions with the mayor yesterday morning. While not ruling out the existence of multiple factors, he emphasized the efforts made by his administration in recent years to address the issue and ensure the safety of swimmers. “When we took office, we knew that the major infrastructures were inadequate, so we urged the Council to expand the treatment plant.
