Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife (TITSA) will reestablish the daily trips of lines 342 and 348, which connect the Teide National Park with Costa Adeje and Puerto de la Cruz, respectively.

In a statement, the vice president of the Council and Mobility Councilor, Enrique Arriaga, indicates that this decision is due to “the high demand” for these routes, which has multiplied with the arrival of tourists and that they are “well received” by the local population.

“We want both residents and visitors to enjoy the island’s tourist area par excellence, but responsibly, prioritizing public transport over private vehicles,” says Arriaga.

Line 342, with a cost from 6.05 euros, will have a departure from Costa Adeje at 09:15 hours and the return at 15:15 hours (from El Portillo).

For its part, the 348, whose price will be from 4.10 euros, will depart from Puerto de la Cruz at 9:30 am and will return at 3:55 pm (from the Parador).

TITSA inaugurated in October a new route through the interior of the Teide National Park, which runs through the most emblematic sites, with which it seeks to reconcile the management and preservation of a protected area with the tourist interest it arouses among tourists and visitors.

Stops are made in Portillo Bajo, visitor center, Portillo Alto, Minas de San José, Montaña Blanca, cable car and Parador (Roques de García).

The line, which runs in both directions inside the park, has a price of 2.10 euros per journey and covers the area between the Portillo Bajo and the parador (Roques de García), with departures at 11:00, 12 : 30, 13:10 and 14:40 in the direction of the parador and with routes at 11:20, 12:30, 13:10 and 14:00 in the direction of the visitor center.

This line maintains the number 342 and makes stops at the visitor center, Portillo Alto, Minas de San José, Montaña Blanca, cable car and the Parador.

These routes can be paid in cash, with ‘Tenmás’ cards, with a credit card or with tourist cards for one or seven days, which includes this journey to Mount Teide.

The routes and timetables of the lines can be consulted on the website www.titsa.com, on the TITSA service telephone number, 922 53 13 00, or through the company’s social networks.
