HiperDino, a leading chain in the food sector in the Canaries and the only regional one that is 100% Canarian, continues with its renovation plan and has just completed the refurbishment of three of its stores located in Tenerife, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria.

SuperDino Alcalá is situated in Southern Tenerife, precisely in the Alcalá Center Shopping Centre in Guía de Isora, and has allocated 1.3 million euros for its refurbishment. The store, completely renovated, has a sales area of 789 m² and employs 27 people. Among its fresh sections, it has a deli, butcher, fishmonger, fruit shop, and bakery, as well as other sections like the winery and organic products.

This store opens every day of the week, with summer hours from 9.00 to 22.00, and the rest of the year, from Monday to Saturday, from 08.00 to 21.00, and on Sundays, from 9.00 to 15.00.

Meanwhile, SuperDino Matorral is located in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura, and 413,174 euros have been invested in its renovation. With a sales area of 500 m², it employs 13 people.

Internally, it offers deli, butcher, fruit shop, bakery, and winery. Its hours are Monday to Saturday, from 8.30 to 21.00, closed on Sundays.

The chain has also refurbished HiperDino Express Atuey. This establishment is located in the Olas de Puerto Rico Shopping Centre, belonging to the town of Mogán (Gran Canaria). It has a sales area of 294 m² and employs 14 people.

With an investment of 848,980 euros, it has the most modern tourist store model, favouring the expansion of the bakery and fruit shop sections, as well as the store entrance, which gains visibility.

Among its most important additions, it also includes a new winery section and screens in the checkout area. Specifically designed for visitors, sliced fruit has been introduced. It is open from Monday to Sunday from 08.00 to 22.00.

The growth and modernization of HiperDino underscore the company’s dedication to innovation and its constant pursuit of excellence. This demonstrates its commitment to providing a first-class service to residents and visitors, and its key role in the economic development of the Canaries.

About HiperDino

In 1985, with 100% Canarian capital, HiperDino was born and has since positioned itself as the preferred chain for Canarians, generating the most jobs: 9,500 workers make the shopping experience exceptional every day, providing optimal service and a constant commitment to customer satisfaction.

Its low-price policy, together with its wide range, variety, and quality of the over 15,000 references it offers in any of its 255 establishments and its online shopping channel, make it the best shopping option for all inhabitants of the Canaries.

It also has four logistics centres, two dark stores or exclusive preparation centres, and 34 DinoShop stores under a franchise system.

Its impact on economic and social development is reflected in the contribution of 2.58% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at the end of 2023, in 49.08% of total purchases from local suppliers, and in the programs and actions carried out through the DinoSol Foundation.

The integration of sustainability into the company’s activities includes three fundamental areas of action: Canarian society and families; marketing of sustainable products and services, and environmental management and the fight against climate change.
