Government Allocates €635,000 Grant for Tourist Infrastructure Improvements in Teguise
The Canarian Executive has approved a €635,000 grant for the City Council of Teguise to enhance tourist infrastructure. The funding will be used for various projects such as repairing public toilets, installing street furniture, and providing lifeguard services on beaches. It also covers the enhancement of monuments and wind toys in the area. These initiatives are seen as crucial by the Department of Tourism and Employment to boost the municipality’s appeal to visitors. The Canarian Government emphasises the importance of continuous upgrading of tourist facilities to maintain the competitiveness of the archipelago in the global tourism market.
