SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Isla Bonita Love Festival, organized by the public entity Sodepal of the Cabildo de La Palma, is set to shed light on the realities faced by the LGTBIQ+ community through a round table discussion titled ‘Island Realities’. This event will take place on Tuesday, 23rd July at Casa de la Cultura de Los Llanos de Aridane, starting at 12 noon.
The session aims to assess the progress, requirements, and commitments of this community on the island of La Palma, with the goal of identifying potential enhancements to enhance the well-being of individuals involved.
The Council underlines the importance of uniting efforts to pursue complete happiness for the LGTBIQ+ community, stressing that such activities “foster the exchange of ideas towards advancements in this realm.”
Participating in the ‘Realidades Insulares’ gathering, alongside the Garoé association of El Hierro, will be representatives from Violetas LGTBi association of La Palma, Lánzate from Lanzarote, Altihy from Fuerteventura, and Diversas from the northern region of Tenerife. Uge Sangil, President of the National LGTBI+ Federation, and the Canary Islands Anthropology Association will also be in attendance.
