Man in critical condition after plunging from a balcony onto the street in Arona (Tenerife)

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 19 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A male individual is in a critical state following a fall from a balcony onto a public road in Arona, situated on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of the Canary Islands.

The incident took place at 01.39 hours this Friday on Avenida del Arquitecto Gómez Cuesta in the aforementioned town. The staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) promptly attended the scene and upon arrival, confirmed that the man had sustained severe injuries. Consequently, he was urgently transported in critical condition by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.

Local Law Enforcement officers also responded to the site of the accident, providing support with the necessary resources, whereas National Police officers took charge of overseeing the proceedings.
