The City Council of La Orotava is encouraging exploration of rural communities within the region by releasing guides featuring routes through different villages in the midlands and highlands. La Orotava SlowTours is the title of this fresh set of self-guided paths that not only outline the journey to be taken but also provide detailed information about the natural, cultural, and architectural highlights of each location. Currently, guides for four destinations are available: Pinolere-Mamio, Colombo-Aguamansa, Camino de Chasna, and Benijos. However, the plan is to enhance the collection to cover all villages in the highlands.
