SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 8th Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A man’s lifeless body was discovered today, Monday, during the cleaning of one of the boats that reached El Hierro this weekend, marking the third migrant fatality alongside a woman and another man.

According to sources from Maritime Rescue, the body was found inside the vessel that arrived on the island early Sunday morning, carrying one deceased woman and 151 survivors, seven of whom required hospitalization.

All occupants of this boat were of sub-Saharan African descent, including 27 women and 8 minors. On Saturday, another boat docked on the island with a young man who passed away and 55 survivors, four of whom were hospitalized.
