The Tacoronte Ecological Farmers and Ranchers Association, comprising professionals from the agricultural sector spanning from Los Realejos to La Laguna, is commemorating its seventh year in 2024. In light of this milestone, the association, which has been selling its own produce since 2017, has arranged a series of events focusing on the importance of incorporating healthy food habits.
Throughout the initial four Tuesdays of July, on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, from six to seven in the evening, a series of seminars and practical sessions designed for both adults and children are scheduled to take place at the La Estación Municipal Market in Tacoronte.
Conducted by Julia Morell, a Dietetics and Nutrition Senior Technician with expertise in sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, pediatric nutrition, and counselling in AC and BLAW, alongside a Master’s degree in obesity and eating disorders, these events aim to educate attendees on the significance of consuming nutritious meals.
The Tacoronte Ecological Farmers and Ranchers Association exhibit their range of products for sale every Tuesday, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Municipal Market premises, offering a diverse selection of fresh, organic produce.
