In Tenerife, four individuals sustained injuries, with one in serious condition, due to a series of three accidents involving motorcycles within a span of less than an hour, as per the latest report from the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2 on Sunday.
The initial incident took place at 18:11 on Saturday when a 38-year-old female rider had a mishap on an avenue in Adeje, resulting in moderate trauma and her subsequent admission to the Hospital del Sur.
Subsequently, at 18:39, emergency responders were called to a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on the TF-5 northern motorway passing through La Laguna.
The collision led to injuries for a 55-year-old woman, who suffered moderate bruises and was rushed to San Juan de Dios Hospital via an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC).
Moreover, a 62-year-old man sustained severe injuries with multiple wounds. While under SUC care, he experienced a cardiac arrest, which was successfully treated by medical personnel. Once stabilized, he was transferred to Canary Islands University Hospital.
Additionally, at 6:49 p.m., a 43-year-old motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries after a fall on the TF-21 road near the Vilaflor intersection towards Teide in La Orotava. Following treatment by SUC responders, he was taken to the South Hospital of the island.
