Coré Ventura Delgado, born April 19, 1994, has spent three years working solo in Flappy dragon, a 100% icodense video game which he has just presented with an exhibition of his worlds and characters inside the Parking del Drago. This young computer engineer, with a degree in Business Administration and Management and two masters in video game development and design, reveals with an original sample some of the secrets of his first free game, available for iOS and Android.
Flappy Dragon was born as an exercise, a test that was only intended to pay tribute to Flappy Bird, a simple game that Coré Ventura remembers “with a lot of affection”. His universe of dragons did not stop growing until he had several worlds, one of them inspired by Tenerife, and 67 species of dragons “with different abilities and types of flight.”
Ventura is clear that his professional future goes through video games and dreams of being able to one day run his own studio. Flappy Dragon is only the first step, but he is already excited when he sees the children having fun with this story of dragons that soar through the skies of a world of castles and knights; a desert with pyramids; a country of ships and pirates, or a forest of dragon trees and pines where the silhouette of Teide makes it clear that Flappy Dragon is a product made in Tenerife, made in Tenerife by a single person “in free time after work.”
