The works will affect the section between kilometer points 59.5 and 58.6. The one located between kilometers 51.4 and 50 will also be rehabilitated. In this strip of the TF-1, the links corresponding to the Tenerife Sur Airport (59), San Isidro-Granadilla-El Médano (57) and Granadilla Industrial Park (50 and 52).
The first vice president and insular councilor for Highways of the Cabildo, Enrique Arriaga, explains that in this way the comfort of the drivers is improved and, above all, safety is increased. This week, night traffic on the TF-1 should be aware of the condition of the Tenerife South Airport link during tonight and Monday night. During these days, those vehicles that circulate in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and wish to access the airport complex must continue until junction 57, San Isidro-Granadilla-El Médano, to make a U-turn and return south to its destiny.
Likewise, users who from the airport are heading towards the highway towards the capital should exit towards Los Cristianos until junction 62, Los Abrigos-San Miguel-Las Galletas, change direction and join in the direction of Santa Cruz.
On Tuesday night, the San Isidro junction will remain closed as a result of the works on the highway. In this case, the vehicles that, in the direction of Santa Cruz, wish to access this link must continue until exit 52, which corresponds to that of the Polígono Industrial de Granadilla, Acceso B, point at which they can make the U-turn. and return south to this area.

These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that has been carried out since last April and which includes an execution period of approximately 14 months. In total, the works, carried out by Sacyr, will include about 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico.
