SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25th June (EUROPA PRESS) –
An agreement will be signed this Tuesday between the Tenerife Council and the Ministry of Defence, commencing at 12:30 p.m. at the General Captaincy Palace of the Canary Islands, to tackle forest fires on the island of Tenerife for the 2024 season.
The collaboration aims to enhance environmental protection, territory security, and civil protection measures on the island of Tenerife throughout this year.
The event will be graced by the presence of Rosa Dávila, the president of the Tenerife Council; José López del Pozo, the chief general of the General Directorate of Defence Policy; Julio Salom Herrera, the general chief of the Canary Islands Command, and Luis Cortés Delgado, the general chief of the General Staff of the Canary Islands Command.
