The operational room of the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 112 recorded a total of 111 relevant incidents related to the San Juan bonfires since yesterday afternoon and throughout the night.
According to Cecoes 112, out of the total incidents registered, 90 occurred in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife province and 21 in the Las Palmas province.
The majority of incidents referred to uncontrolled bonfires and the smoke generated, although no severe personal injuries were reported, as indicated by 1-1-2.

Security forces and Civil Protection personnel maintained a special operation throughout the day in the various municipalities of Canary Islands, both in prevention tasks for the bonfires celebration and in intervention in case of emergency.

In the case of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Civil Protection announced around fifteen incidents in the first hours of the special operation, none of them being serious.
