Officers of the Canarian Police General Corps apprehended a 40-year-old individual in Arona following a family altercation. During the identification process, the detainee physically assaulted one of the officers, leading to his arrest for assaulting an officer of the law.
Upon verifying the personal details of the individual, the responding officers discovered an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by the Investigative Court of San Cristóbal La Laguna.
In a separate incident, the Canary Islands Police arrested a 35-year-old man on June 18 who was wanted for an alleged financial crime.
The arrest took place outside the individual’s residence in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, following a warrant issued by Investigative Court No. 2 of La Orotava, as per the Canarian Police General Corps.
