An Arrival of a cayuco with 63 migrants, including a baby, in El Hierro

VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), 19th June (EUROPA PRESS) –

In El Pinar’s municipality, a cayuco carrying 63 sub-Saharan migrants, including six women and a baby, arrived at the port of La Restinga this Wednesday, according to Salvamento Marítimo.

The vessel was spotted close to the southern port and was escorted by the Salvamar Adhara, which guided it to the dock under safe conditions.

Following the medical attention provided by Red Cross personnel and the Canarian Health Service, the transfer of an individual to the island hospital was arranged.
