Marine researchers, sea scientists, individuals from the fishing industry, chefs… All congregate on the island of Tenerife for the VI Meeting of the Seas. This exceptional event is the sole conference globally that intertwines culinary arts with scientific research and the fishing sector. Spanning three days, a panel of over thirty speakers will engage in discussions and explore avenues for safeguarding sea culture from varying standpoints. The focus of this year revolves around “Reviving the bond between the ocean and human well-being.” Sessions will cover a range of topics such as the future of marine-based nourishment, restoring the equilibrium in human-fish population dynamics, and the endeavour to boost fish consumption within households.
