THE WEATHER IN THE CANARY ISLANDS | What to expect weather-wise this Tuesday in the Canary Islands?

Expect predominantly cloudy skies this Tuesday in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and the northern slopes of the other islands, where occasional light drizzles are not ruled out, especially in the early hours, giving way to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon, as per the forecast by the Canary Islands State Meteorological Agency.

Elsewhere, mostly clear or sunny skies, with some cloudy intervals in the southwest of Tenerife with a low chance of light drizzle in the evening.

Temperatures will remain steady. In the easternmost islands, moderate winds from the north. In the other islands, moderate northeast winds with occasional strong gusts in low-lying areas and coastal regions in the northwest and southeast.

At sea, expect a north wind force 3 or 4 increasing to 5 on the east and west coasts, locally reaching 6 further offshore on the southwest and southeast coasts. Slight to moderate swell locally increasing to rough swell further offshore on the southwest and southeast coasts. On the north coast, north force 2 or 3 and slight swell. On the south coast, variable 1 to 4, sea breezes, and slight swell. Northern swell of around 1 meter.

Cloudy in the north with a low chance of light drizzles in the early morning, clearing up to partly cloudy during midday. Elsewhere, mostly clear or sunny. Temperatures mostly unchanged. Moderate northeast winds, with occasional strong gusts in low-lying areas and coastal regions in the west and southeast, where some locally very strong gusts are not ruled out.

Expect cloudy skies with a low chance of light drizzles, especially in the north in the early morning, clearing up to mostly clear or sunny after midday with some cloudy intervals later in the north. Temperatures remaining relatively stable. Moderate north winds.

FUERTEVENTURA

Expect cloudy skies with a low chance of light drizzles, especially in the north and west in the early morning, clearing up to mostly clear or sunny after midday with some cloudy intervals later in the north and west. Temperatures mostly unchanged. Moderate north winds.

TENERIFE

Expect cloudy skies in the north with a low chance of light drizzles and occasional rain in the early morning, clearing up in the afternoon. In the south and southwest, expect mostly cloudy skies turning partly cloudy in the afternoon with a chance of light drizzles. Elsewhere, mostly clear or sunny. Temperatures steady. Moderate northeast winds, with occasional strong gusts in low-lying areas and coastal regions to the east. Moderate to light northwest winds in the mountains. Sea breezes on the west coast.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 20 25

In the mountains, clear except for some high cloudiness in the afternoon. Cloudy in the north and east with a low chance of light drizzles and occasional rain during the first half of the day, clearing up to partly cloudy in the afternoon. Elsewhere, mostly clear with occasional intervals of clouds. Temperatures mostly unchanged. Moderate northeast winds with occasional strong gusts on the northwest and southern points. Sea breezes on the west coast.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

San Sebastián de la Gomera 21 25

Cloudy in the north with a low chance of light drizzles and occasional rain in the early hours, clearing up to partly cloudy around midday. Elsewhere, generally clear or sunny. Temperatures mostly steady. Moderate northeast winds with occasional strong gusts in low-lying areas and coastal regions to the west and south. Sea breezes on the southwest coast.
