SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 9th June (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Tenerife Cabildo wrapped up four days of business activities and debut of new collections at the Tenerife International Fashion Fair with a posthumous homage to the iconic ‘Franko Hairdresser’.
Education and Employment Minister, Efraín Medina, together with Industry Minister, Manuel Fernández, presented a commemorative mural to the stylist’s daughter, to be gifted to the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A tribute video was then screened in her honour, followed by the commencement of the ‘Hairdressing in the Black Box’ live show.
The final day of the Tenerife International Fashion Fair featured a showcase by specialised accessories companies. The runway event took place at 11:30 a.m. in the Fairgrounds’ Black Box.
Jewellery and accessory brands such as Nok, Roselinde, and Hammerhoj Design, affiliated with Tenerife Moda, took the lead in presenting their upcoming season’s offerings, where necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bags, and footwear shone brightly on the runway, under the direction of Daniel Pages.
Following the conclusion of the display, the Black Box was transformed into a grand hairdressing salon with a live presentation by Esteban Emmanuel, global ambassador of ‘Live Fashion Hair’.
The ‘Franko Hairdresser’ Hairdressing and Beauty Fair featured over 50 exhibitors from the hairdressing, barbering, beauty, tattooing, and body art domains, showcasing firsthand the latest trends, products, and treatments to industry professionals.
Additionally, a dedicated ‘New Stylo’ makeover zone was established, where activities catered to the general public were conducted, overseen by leading academies and experts, including nail art battles, barber showcases, and displays by talented young individuals, among others.
The Tenerife International Fashion Fair brought together designers, national and international brands, and independent creators to infuse over 9,000 square metres of exhibition space and 3,000 square metres of catwalk with innovation, transforming the Fairgrounds into the hub of Atlantic trends. Nearly 200 companies from diverse sectors linked to fashion, hairdressing, and beauty congregated, making the event a success.
