The Mayor of Antigua, Matías Peña, and the Sports Councillor, Samuel Torres, presented a distinctive plaque to Oliver Alberto Espinel on Thursday for his recent victory in the Spanish Hunting Tour Championship held in Tenerife, where he was crowned champion in category B and achieved an outstanding eighth position in the overall classification.
Oliver Alberto Espinel made history by becoming the first shooter from Fuerteventura to reach the podium in this national championship, hitting 172 out of 200 possible targets. The plaque presented by the Mayor and the Councillor reflected the pride of the municipality of Antigua, highlighting Oliver’s perseverance and tenacity, values that have been with him since a young age.
