SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 31st May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 22-year-old cyclist suffered moderate injuries after colliding with a car while travelling on the TF-38 highway, passing through the municipality of Guía de Isora (Tenerife), as confirmed by the Emergency Coordination Center and Security of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon on the aforementioned highway, around kilometer point 7. Following a notification to personnel from the Teide National Park, responders from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived at the scene and determined that the cyclist had sustained moderate injuries, with no further complications reported.
Subsequently, the young man was transported in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
Officials from the General Corps of the Canarian Police, present in the vicinity, also attended the site of the accident to secure the area and assist other emergency services. Additionally, members of the Civil Guard, who conducted the necessary procedures, were also involved.
