On the occasion of the Day of Canary Islands, the airline Binter celebrates the various ways of feeling the Canary Islands and exalts the values that move and unite all Canarians, whether by birth or at heart, with a series of communications and specific actions for its passengers, island students, and the personnel of the different companies that make up the Binter system.

Under the message ‘The green that moves us,’ the company reminds us that, although the colours that identify the Canary Islands are white, blue, and yellow, when they merge, they result in green, the emblematic colour of Binter that is present on all the islands and symbolises hope, future, sustainability, and their commitment to continue flying high.

Pioneer of socioeconomic development in the Archipelago for 35 years

Binter, 100% Canarian company since 2002 and celebrating 35 years, has played a fundamental role in the socioeconomic development of the Archipelago during this time.

The airline ensures the internal connectivity of the islands, being the only one flying to all their airports, and contributes to economic growth and the creation of qualified employment through its system of 17 companies specialised in the aviation sector, with over 2,500 employees in the Islands, with whom they will celebrate the Day of the Canary Islands in a special way.

[–>

The airline, which already links the Canary Islands to 32 destinations outside the archipelago, 15 of them in Spain and 17 internationally, took on the challenge last February of providing its quality air service on the Canarias-Madrid route, responding to a demand from the islanders who wanted to travel between the two destinations ‘in a Canarian way’.

This way of flying has earned them numerous accolades, becoming a benchmark in Canary Island transportation and gaining prominence in Spain and Europe through the European Regional Airlines Association (ERA), which has awarded them up to seven times, as well as recognition from TripAdvisor users or the OCU.

Seeds of the future

[–>

As on other occasions, Binter wanted to carry out a special action for the Day of the Canary Islands with the students, inviting them to express their vision of the future of the islands.

[–>

To make it widespread among the majority of students, the airline has proposed a drawing contest for primary school students with categories ‘Mini,’ from first to the third year of this educational stage, and ‘Junior,’ from the fourth to the sixth. In addition, students from first to fourth year of ESO can participate in a writing contest with the same theme.

Enhancements in interisland connections

[–>

To meet the demands of its customers on the occasion of the Day of the Canary Islands holiday and the bridge days, the airline has strengthened some of its interisland connections between Wednesday, May 29, and Sunday, June 2.

Binter celebrates Canary Islands Day by reaffirming its commitment to the Archipelago so that it continues to fly high.

For this operation, Binter will have up to 22 aircraft flying in the Canary Islands on May 29 and June 2.
