Canarias will wake up this Friday, 24th May, with meteorological conditions similar to those of the previous days.

In the western islands, we expect cloudy periods with cloudy skies prevailing in the north in the morning and on south-facing slopes in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, in the eastern islands, cloudy periods will become mostly clear from noon onwards.

Temperatures will remain mostly stable or experience a slight increase in maximum temperatures in inland areas of the mountainous islands. Moderate trade winds, with strong gusts on southeast and northwest slopes by the end of the day.

Province-by-province weather forecast for this Friday:

Regarding the eastern province, in the north of Gran Canaria there will be cloudy periods becoming mostly clear in the morning, while cloudy periods will return in the late hours; and in other areas it will be mostly clear or sunny with some cloud development during midday.

For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, there will be cloudy periods clearing to mostly clear in the morning and then returning to cloudy periods in the north in the late hours.

Temperatures will remain stable or slightly rise in maximum temperature in inland areas, with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ranging from 24°C maximum to 19°C minimum.

Regarding wind, there will be moderate trade winds with strong gusts on southeast and northwest slopes in the afternoon. Prevailing sea breeze regime on the southwestern coasts.

Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife

In the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, this Friday will be marked by intervals of clouds with cloudy skies prevailing in the north in the morning and on south-facing slopes in the afternoon, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
