Traditions, films, and music for all the family are among the enticing options to enjoy some hours of entertainment catered to your taste. Here are the plans lined up for this weekend:

Additionally, the first artistic swimming tournament will take place at the Acidalio Lorenzo pool, along with the VI Neighborhood Gathering La Molienda at the La Estrella de Los Alisios II park. At 18:00, the Plaza de la Candelaria will host a dance with the senior magicians, followed by the show Voices of Tradition at 21:00 in the same location.
On Sunday, the Museum of Fine Arts will hold a chamber concert at 12:00, and there will be a folklore meeting ‘Culture and Root’ at the same time in the Plaza de la Candelaria.
Film Screening
TEA Tenerife Arts Space will be screening the movie The Abbess (2024) this weekend at 19:00. The film by the veteran director, screenwriter, and producer Antonio Chavarrías is based on the story of a nun who challenged the power structures of the 9th century, inspired by the real story of Emma, a young woman born in the year 880, daughter of Guifré, Count of Barcelona. This medieval drama unfolds in a dark and violent time, almost unknown and full of contradictions.
