MediaMarkt, a pioneering omnichannel company in the consumer electronics distribution sector and related services, is inaugurating a new store in the Adeje Shopping Commercial Park, located in the municipality of Adeje, in Tenerife South. This opening reinforces the company’s commitment to the island, where it now has 3 establishments, and to the overall Canary Islands, an autonomous community where it totals 7 stores.
The new Adeje store employs 70 technology specialists and has a commercial area of 1,750 m2 spread across a single floor. In this space,
customers will have access to over 4,700 references, with a highlight on the presence of premium brand products.

First MediaMarkt store in Spain with the revamped ‘Core’ format MediaMarkt Adeje is the company’s first store with the new concept of the
Core format, which focuses on the importance of enhancing customer experience following an avant-garde and omnichannel approach. Aiming to continue creating unique technological experiences,
MediaMarkt Adeje features an installation of an experience zone with a large screen at the store entrance and a telecommunications operator area with updated furniture.
Additionally, the store offers the option to collect online orders within 30 minutes, has various checkout points to avoid crowds in the main cash area, and a service point for device repairs or technological personalisation and assistance.
Consumption of more sustainable technology In line with the company’s commitment to contribute to a more respectful and environmentally conscious retail sector, the new store offers various proposals for customers to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle and technology consumption.
In this regard, MediaMarkt Adeje has a wide availability of products classified as ‘BetterWay’, a distinctive feature that guarantees sustainable manufacturing conditions
or their energy efficiency; it has a repair service focused on extending the lifespan of devices; offers solutions aimed at promoting the use of renewable energies such as solar panels or electric vehicle chargers; and has a dedicated space for the device buy-back service through which circular economy is promoted.
Grand opening campaign “Tax-Free Day” To mark this opening, MediaMarkt Adeje launches the “Tax-Free Day” campaign. Specifically, between 8:00 am and midnight on May 16, customers of the establishment can enjoy a 21% discount on all in-stock products, including Apple products and consoles.
