The gala, presented as a theatrical-musical spectacle under the title Exodus, paid tribute – under the direction of Kiryl Pérez and musical direction of Samuel Fumero and his company Sentimos Mayo – to the Canarian ancestors who had to emigrate to Venezuelan lands, creating bonds that remain in our culture, with outstanding performances by actors Silvia Criado, Daniel Tejera and Álvaro Hernández Díaz, and the dance group Yacambú.
