The judicial authority responsible for the Duty Court of the San Cristóbal de La Laguna judicial district (Instruction 1) has decided this Saturday afternoon to grant provisional release to the former manager of the Unión Deportiva Coromoto, according to the communication office of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC).
Recently reported to the authorities as the suspected perpetrator of two alleged cases of child corruption under article 188.4 of the Penal Code, involving numerous young players of the club.
As part of precautionary measures, he is forbidden to come within 500 metres of the two alleged victims and the premises of the Coromoto Sports Union or any locations where the club conducts its activities.
