The Tacoronte City Council and TLP Tenerife announce the return of the event on weekends with TLP Day Tacoronte, an event that brings together technology and new trends in the municipality. It will take place on May 25, at the Plaza de la Estación and will be open from 12 noon to 9 pm. Entry will be free and open to the public until full capacity is reached.

In 2019, the last event called TLP Weekend was held, and this year the municipality will host the first stop of TLP Day. The event will offer a wide range of activities for talent development and hobbies related to technologies and new trends of the young people in the municipality.

TLP Day aims to bring the most educational and entertaining part of TLP Tenerife to all corners of the island through a compact format of just one day. Activities related to environmental sustainability will be developed, and introductory workshops on robotics will be offered.

The latest trends will also be present at TLP Day Tacoronte. A K-Pop dance exhibition competition will be held, the musical style that has gained so much popularity among young people in recent years. There will also be cosplay competitions, which is the art of dressing up and embodying characters from audiovisual culture.
Esports will take shape through various video game tournaments such as Valorant, EA Sports FC24, Tekken 8, and more. There will also be an exclusive in-person stop for the Pokémon Midseason Showdown Tournament, part of TLP Championship, the competition of different games as a prelude to the event in September.
TLP Day Tacoronte is part of Tacoronte NextGen, an initiative that combines leisure, reflection, and learning to bring technologies closer to young people and families in Tacoronte. It will host a large number of activities such as talks by experts on aspects like Artificial Intelligence, meetings with professionals, exhibitions with interactive stands, and a Hackathon to boost projects related to sustainable development.
TLP Day and TLP Weekend are events through which the aim is to bring technology and new trends to the various municipalities of the island of Tenerife, as well as to create safe spaces for young people.
TLP Tenerife 2024 is the Canaries event for technologies and new trends that has held fifteen editions. It is the meeting point where the love for video games, anime, comics, manga, K-Pop, cosplay, handicrafts, influencers, Japanese culture, and much more converge. It will take place from September 3 to 8 at the Recinto Ferial de Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
