A street exhibition showcasing the cultural heritage of Candelaria has been inaugurated by the Candelaria City Council. This curated exhibition, part of Candelaria Celebra Canarias, will be on display along Rambla Los Menceyes until 4th August. Residents and visitors are invited by the City Council to “take a journey through time and uncover the treasures that define the cultural identity of Candelaria, focusing on the medians.”
Remarkable Heritage
Candelaria boasts a remarkable cultural heritage. The exhibition features iconic sites such as the Chacorche Ravine, the Los Menceyes sculpture complex, and the Old Town Hall. This exhibition pays homage to the history and enduring traditions of the municipality, showcasing approximately twenty cultural sites that represent the architectural, ethnographic, furniture, toponymic, intangible, and archaeological gems that underpin the identity of Candelaria.
