On Friday 26th April, the CEPA (Adult Education Centre) of Icod de los Vinos celebrated twenty-five years of valuable educational work, bringing together students, teachers, authorities, and representatives of various friend organizations in a simple yet very emotional event. A mural painting, created by the center’s own students, will serve to commemorate this anniversary, along with a commemorative plaque dedicated “to all the people who made it possible.”
Furthermore, the occasion was taken to announce the change of name of the institution, which is now called CEPA YcoDaute. This new name aims to be more representative of the broad geographical scope in which it operates, integrating the municipalities of Buenavista del Norte, Garachico, Los Silos, El Tanque, and Icod de los Vinos.
