This Thursday, November 11, The Top wanted to anticipate the arrival of the Christmas season by filling the large central square, the terraces located at different levels and its many facades with light and color. The emblematic giant spinning top that dances on one hand and presides over the central square has been filled with white lights, allowing it to shine alongside a huge luminous Christmas tree, which stands next to the playground and the terraces.

Along with the large tree, other decorative elements stand out, such as Santa’s giant boot, about 4 meters high and another 4 meters long, which receives customers in one of the upper entrances, next to the Intersport store and the elevator. It is composed of 7,200 units of colored led lights, white, red and yellow. In addition, there are 45 “American-style” Christmas canes, a reindeer sleigh, two stars, and a Bethlehem portal. The white lights make a “snow effect” in every corner.

The managing director of the Multicentro Comercial El Trompo, Ambrosio Jimenez, values the importance of this next Christmas campaign after the very harsh economic effects caused by the coronavirus pandemic. He faces the coming weeks with enthusiasm and keeps, if the health situation allows it, ideas for numerous revitalization activities that in 2020 it was impossible to celebrate. Currently, the capacity in stores is 80% and in the outdoor area it is allowed 100%.

The six floors of the El Trompo Multicentro Comercial, located in San Jerónimo, have already been filled with light and color to welcome the most important campaign of the year

From El Trompo it is emphasized that «the Christmas decorations and lighting have been set up to generate more enthusiasm for everyone and, especially, for all the children who regularly visit El Trompo, its more than 46 stores and its central square equipped with a playground and terraces. The objective is also to give more life to these dates and do not miss the illusion for Christmas». El Trompo is one of the largest and busiest shopping centers in the north of Tenerife, with a wide variety of shops, with its common outdoor areas and many alternatives for children’s entertainment.

Next Sunday, November 28, El Trompo Shopping Mall will open to the public on the first extraordinary commercial opening day on the occasion of the week of Black friday. Later it is scheduled to open on Monday, December 6, in the middle of the Immaculate Conception bridge, and on Sundays 12, 19 and 26 of the last month of this year 2021.
