WEATHER FORECAST IN THE CANARY ISLANDS | How Will the Weather be This Friday in the Canary Islands?

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts for this Friday cloudy intervals in the northern part of the islands and in the interior of the southern mountainous areas, with clear skies in the rest of the areas, temperatures slightly dropping, and moderate northeasterly winds.

According to the forecast, the wind is expected to shift to a light north direction by the end of the day.

Regarding the sea conditions, it’s predicted northeast winds force 4 or 5, occasionally 6, rough seas and locally strong rough seas, and variable force 2 or 3 with calm or slight rough seas on the coasts of the south, west, and southwest of the islands. There will be a north swell with waves of 1 to 2 meters high.

The island forecast is as follows:

Partly cloudy except for intervals on the northern coast with clear skies in the central hours and convective clouds in the southwest interior during the afternoon. Temperatures will slightly drop, more pronounced in the southwest. Moderate northeasterly winds, with occasional strong intervals in the southeast and west slopes.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 17 23

Partly cloudy or clear with some intervals on the northern coast in the early and late hours. Temperatures will remain mostly unchanged. Moderate northeasterly wind shifting to the north in the afternoon.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Arrecife 17 24

Generally clear. Minimum temperatures with few changes, and maximum temperatures slightly dropping. Moderate northeasterly winds shifting to the north in the afternoon.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Puerto del Rosario 17 23

Cloudy intervals on the northern and eastern coasts and in the western interior during the central hours. Partly cloudy in the rest of the areas. Minimum temperatures with few changes, maximum temperatures slightly dropping. Moderate northeasterly winds with occasional strong intervals in the northwest and southeast slopes.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Santa Cruz de la Palma 15 23

Partly cloudy except for intervals on the northern coast with clear skies in the central hours and convective clouds forming in the southwest interior during the afternoon. Temperatures will remain relatively stable. Moderate northeasterly winds, with occasional strong intervals in the southeast and far west.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Valverde 15 20
