Binter and Gestión del Medio Rural de Canarias (GMR Canarias), through Volcanic Experience, have delighted passengers of flight NT 6064 travelling from Tenerife to Madrid with the gastronomic expedition representing the Canary Islands at the 2024 Gourmets Show, taking place until the 25th of April in the capital.
During the coffee and tea service, following the gourmet appetizer, passengers were treated to a tasting of “bollo gomero,” a traditional sweet made with flour, salt, sugar, butter, aniseed, egg, and milk, as the kick-off to the initiative to showcase all the goodness of the products, recipes, and gastronomic professionals from the archipelago at the leading fair for high-quality food and beverages in Europe.
In their promotion of island products, the Canary Islands Gastronomic Expedition has flown to the capital in Canarian style with the airline Binter as the official carrier, both for transporting the team, composed of prestigious chefs and industry professionals, and for the products that will be showcased during the event.
