SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 17th April. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Cabildo of Tenerife is currently considering potential joint projects in the aerospace sector as well as innovation and the advancement of next-generation drones in collaboration with the European Vodafone Business Center.

The Minister of Innovation, Research, and Development, Juan José Martínez, together with the CEO of the Technological Institute of Renewable Energies (ITER), Begoña Ortiz, recently visited the premises of this centre, which serves as a national and international hub for business initiatives focusing on generating innovative products and services based on cutting-edge technologies.

According to Juan José Martínez, this visit “paves the way for establishing synergies between the centre and ITER to jointly undertake projects in the aerospace sector and the innovation and advancement of next-generation drones.”

The Vodafone Innovation Hub oversees commercial activities for the Vodafone group and corporate clients in 11 countries, specialising in developing technological solutions and innovative digital services grounded in unified communications, the Internet of Things, virtual private networks, open RAN (open and interoperable networks), edge computing, connected vehicles, robotics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and blockchain technology.

Meanwhile, the Cabildo delegation is set to participate in the ‘AI Tech Summit 2024’ on Wednesday, a leading event in the artificial intelligence landscape that will convene global technology leaders at the Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Centre.
