In the La Cuesta neighbourhood of Tenerife’s La Laguna, the National Police have arrested three men and successfully disrupted a drug distribution point located near an Early Childhood and Primary Education Centre.
The individuals in custody are suspected of running a small-scale drug operation from residences in close proximity to the school, engaging in retail drug distribution. It was revealed by the National Police on Tuesday that they were operating from three residential premises, with one being utilised as a storage facility for narcotic substances.
Investigators from the National Police uncovered a highly active network of drug distribution in La Cuesta involving multiple individuals.
Following the accumulation of adequate evidence, the National Police took action to apprehend the suspects and confiscated over 5,900 euros in cash; 352 grams of cocaine; 3.6 kilograms of hashish; along with tools essential for processing and distributing the illicit substances.
Subsequent to providing their testimonies at the police station, the apprehended individuals have been handed over to the appropriate judicial authorities, resulting in the detention of two of them.
