Two individuals in Tenerife have been taken into custody by the Civil Guard due to drug consumption or possession subsequent to the inspection carried out at various entertainment venues situated in different municipalities in the north of the island, including Tacoronte, Santa Úrsula, La Victoria, La Orotava, Icod de Los Vinos, and Garachico.
Throughout the inspections, over 100 individuals were identified, and two of them were apprehended as the officers confirmed that they were subject to existing search and arrest warrants issued by the judicial authority, as announced by the Civil Guard on Monday.
Furthermore, 25 fines were issued for severe violations of administrative regulations.
Concurrently, Civil Guard agents examined the safety protocols of the venues and the adherence to municipal regulations, revealing that one of the establishments did not possess a valid operating license.
