SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 28 March (EUROPA PRESS) –
A man, whose identity remains undisclosed, tragically lost his life on Thursday as a result of a motorcycle mishap near the San José Mines in the Teide National Park. This information was provided by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident took place just after 3:00 p.m. when the 1-1-2 operational centre received a notification regarding a motorcyclist who had fallen on TF-21, was found unconscious on the road, and urgently required medical attention.
Upon arrival, individuals who identified themselves as healthcare professionals at the scene confirmed that the individual was in cardiac arrest. Despite their efforts and the subsequent intervention of an ambulance and the SUC medical helicopter, which landed on the site, advanced resuscitation procedures were unfortunately unsuccessful, resulting in the tragic passing of the motorcyclist.
The Civil Guard initiated the necessary procedures, with personnel from the Teide National Park assisting other emergency services, while members of the Road Conservation Service undertook road clearance operations.
