This Holy Week, the newly renovated bathing area in the Anaga district of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be hosting delightful street food vans serving American and Italian cuisine.

You can enjoy the gastronomic delights at Los Charcos de Valleseco from March 28 to 31, between 12:00 and 22:00.

Get ready to savour the offerings from La Pendeja and La Trotolla, two familiar street food vans well-known on social media for their delectable dishes. These vans have successfully pleased crowds at various leisure events on the island.

This initiative is organised by the Anaga district council to introduce the public to the enhanced puddles following their refurbishment.

“I want to emphasise the importance of waste management during these days, as we are expecting a large number of visitors. This new area, being next to the sea with windy conditions, could lead to waste dispersion if not handled properly,” highlighted Gladis de León, the official in charge of the area.

Discover the upgraded bathing area in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at Valleseco Charcos. It is just a 15-minute walk from the city centre and offers a swimming area spanning 272 metres. Situated between the Maritime Rescue tower and the Tenerife Marine Sports Center (Cidemat), this location boasts a 350-metre promenade towards the east of the municipality. The area features protective barriers, wetlands, two plazas, two floating sunbathing platforms, shaded spots, green spaces, and a service facility, among other amenities. Two pedestrian walkways have been constructed for easy access to this zone.
