SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25th March (EUROPA PRESS) –

Officers of the Civil Guard from the Tacoronte Main Post, as part of the Lady’s North operation to combat drug trafficking, have put an end to a drug sales spot in a property located in the mentioned town.

The police’s investigation concluded on Friday, 8th March, with a raid on the residence and the arrest of two women and a man, charged with a crime related to public health – drug trafficking.

Officers from the Investigation Department of the Tacoronte Post confiscated 520 grams of cocaine and 50 grams of hashish meant for selling during the search, along with precise weighing scales, packaging materials for distribution, documents, electronic devices, and a total of 720 euros in cash.

The operation was conducted by various units of the Civil Guard, the Citizen Security Unit of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Command (USECIC), personnel from the Puerto de la Cruz Company, and a Civil Guard canine unit specialised in detecting narcotics.

The police’s anti-drug initiative was overseen by the Court of First Instance and Investigation No. 4 of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, where the suspects were presented alongside the procedures carried out for the drug trafficking offence.
