While the Canary Islands are watching the skies waiting to see what will happen with the DANA that has settled in the archipelago, on land, seven earthquakes have been recorded this Saturday.
According to the National Geographic Institute (IGN), five of the tremors have been located in the area between Tenerife and Gran Canaria, known as the Enmedio Volcano, and two in Tenerife.
The most significant seismic event in the Enmedio volcano was recorded at 2.5 magnitude at 09:40 hours, at a depth of 24 kilometers.
Also in that area, shortly after five in the morning, a tremor of 2.1 magnitude occurred although at a significant depth of 52 kilometers.
The rest of the earthquakes in that area did not even reach a magnitude of 2, with the last one occurring around half past ten in the morning.
Minor on land

In addition to these, there were two more earthquakes on land in Tenerife, although none were felt by the population. The first was recorded in the municipality of Guía de Isora shortly after nine in the morning, with a magnitude of 1.5, at a depth of twelve kilometers.

The second one, which was also the last one of the morning on the island, occurred in the municipality of Vilaflor shortly after eleven in the morning, at a depth of just two kilometers, with a magnitude of only 1.1.
