The eagerly awaited Canary Market Place‘s XI edition has been postponed due to the weather forecast for March 23 and 24. The presence of the DANA in the Canary Islands will bring heavy rain and winds. The event’s organizers communicated this decision to over 45 Canarian firms set to showcase their works in Nueva Atalaya, along with the teams coordinating the more than 10 simultaneous activities.

Natalia Triana, the Market’s organizer, pointed out that activities involving animals and workshops for children cannot proceed in the rain. To avoid any unnecessary risks and ensure the safety of attendees and participants, the event has been rescheduled.

“Our aim is to provide a platform for brands and artists to showcase their talents, offering activities for families. However, the expected weekend weather conditions will make this task unfeasible,” Natalia explained.

The 11th edition of the Canary Market Place will make a comeback stronger than ever. The new dates confirmed are June 1 and 2, where all participants will reunite to deliver a weekend filled with music, food, culture, and entertainment in Laguna municipality.
