Tenerife Interurban Transport (Titsa), a company owned by the Cabildo de Tenerife, will enhance services on twelve routes on March 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, and 31 to enhance connectivity during the Easter period.
The company has specifically increased services to beach areas to meet the demand that arises annually.
The planned initiative will boost frequencies on routes 014 and 015 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-La Laguna), 122 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Las Caletillas-Candelaria), 138 and 139 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Radazul-Tabaiba); 050 (La Laguna-Bajamar-Punta del Hidalgo) and 369 (Buenavista del Norte-Punta de Teno)
Moreover, services on 111 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife – Los Cristianos – Costa Adeje) and 343 (Puerto de la Cruz – Costa Adeje, passing through both airports) will be reinforced.
Urban service in Santa Cruz
Titsa, in collaboration with the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, will introduce route 948 that links Azanos, Almáciga beach, and Benijos free of charge during the weekend of March 23 and 24 and on Easter holidays. Passengers can avail trips at 12:10, 13:00, 14:340, 15:30, 16:20, 17:35, and 18:25 from Azanos. Return journeys will depart at 12:35, 1:25 p.m., 3:05 p.m., 3:55 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 6:50 p.m.
Route 910, connecting the Intercambiador with Las Teresitas beach, will operate on weekdays, thereby increasing its frequency.
Additionally, route 945 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Igueste de San Andrés Interchange) will offer more seats during regular hours, whereas route 946 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Almáciga Interchange) will have two extra departures from the Interchange at 10:55 and 1:10 p.m., and from Almáciga at 2:20 p.m. and 7:25 p.m.
