The digital revolution era is experiencing a prolonged period of constant advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, the metaverse, etc. One of the latest innovations, presented within the framework of Technologica, are the Apple Vision Pro, a product not yet available in the Spanish market. The user undergoes a mixed experience as its uniqueness lies in combining physical reality with the virtual world.

These are not just ordinary virtual reality glasses. They are considered suitable for use by anyone, except children under 13, regardless of any visual impairments. Upon starting to use them, they perform a scan that accurately captures optical information for all users. The product design is lightweight and, unlike other virtual reality models, does not require controllers; it simply responds to hand movements. Users can navigate their natural environment while interactively conducting tasks such as writing, checking their social media accounts, and even working.

Featuring a two-hour battery life, they can be used even in public spaces “without the fear of collisions”. These interactive spectacles will be launched for a price ranging between 3,800 and 3,900 Euros.

Highlighted during the presentation yesterday was its ability to facilitate the conceptual development of new technologies and its use within the educational field. Pedro Lozano, co-founder of the Imascono startup and vice president of the Spanish Confederation of Associations of Young Entrepreneurs (Ceaje), emphasized this aspect: “Educational training can be carried out with them,” he stated, while demonstrating the practical use of this tool by dismantling a 3D model of an airplane turbine.

At the Technologica Santa Cruz Grupo-Canaauto event, held at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, attendees will have the opportunity to discover and test the Apple Vision Pro today. An example of the advancement in new technologies being showcased in Tenerife before its arrival in the Spanish market.
