Provisional closure of the Plaza de Europa car park in Puerto de la Cruz has been ordered by the City Council. This decision is a result of shortcomings identified in the fire protection system of the car park.

The City Council has stated that it will be implementing additional measures to ensure a gradual reopening, prioritizing safety and compliance with regulations.

Emphasizing that this closure is a precautionary step, Mayor Marco González has assured that necessary actions will be taken to reopen the car park safely in the upcoming weeks.
